In the wake of the erratic power outages across the country, chilling revelations have unearthed about how popular energy analyst Fritz J.T. Moses is employing several Machiavellian tactics to influence the upcoming Junior Common Room Election in the Dr Hilla Limann Hall at the University of Ghana.

Reports and intelligence on the ground have it that, he is conniving with Emmanuel Innocent Agbagba; who is seeking to rise from the ruins of his failed attempt at the JCR Presidency last year to anoint one Derrick Daah and impose him on the hall residents through the efforts of the already compromised Electoral Commissioner in the name of Gideon Attansah Morrison.

This was made manifest when for the first time in election history, nominations were opened and closed within the space of 24 hours. To add insult to injury, it is reported that Mr Moses hijacked the nomination forms in his room – Room 3028 where he unlawfully denied other JCR Presidential Aspirants the opportunity to pick the nomination forms by telling them that he Mr Fritz Moses was contesting for the position.

In furtherance of these illegalities, portions of the name of the only contestant who managed to file his nomination against Derrick Daah for the position have been changed in all official correspondences thereafter.

It is also emerging that during the vetting process, Mr Fritz Moses stormed the committee sitting bare chested and violently swore that he would kill to make Derrick Daah JCR President. Members of the vetting committee and observers present fled out of the meeting out of fear and shock. Broken door hinges of the room as a result of these happenings are yet to be fixed.

Residents of the hall continue to express their discontent with the process and are pleading to higher authorities to intervene and sanitize the process.
